They first tried their hand at making chocolate in 2003 in a former whiskey distillery in Toronto, offering local customers a pop-up shop of chocolate, including hot chocolate, truffles, gelato and other tasty chocolate treats. Like us, they met a local community of fine chocolate lovers and the rest is history. Soma Chocolatemaker makes world-class chocolate that offers excellent flavor complexity and smooth, creamy texture. We never know exactly what they'll be making until we're ready to place our order. While they might have tried-and-true cacao origin bars on hand, there are usually some new ones as well. They are constantly tasting new cacao origins and innovating in their chocolate lab.
